About Us

Founded as the Black Business Student Association at Columbia Business School, CBS4A has grown from a student organization into a multi-generational alumni network spanning more than six decades and thousands of professionals across every major industry.

We are governed independently, driven by alumni volunteers, and funded by the generosity of our community. Our work touches scholarship, mentorship, community building, and professional advancement — all rooted in the belief that when Black business professionals are connected, resourced, and organized, they move the needle in ways that matter.
